She loves me... She loves me not....

SHE LOVES ME!!

Here are a few items that I have been testing out lately and have decided that I love! So I definitely would recommend these to anyone because they are just great! Hope you enjoy!

1. Garnier's Under Eye Roller.

I love this thing! I got it about a week ago and you just put it under your eyes (where you might have dark circles) and it works great for sleepy puffiness when you wake up or when you go to bed.. I especially like this in the morning because it helps me wake up! It's supposed to reduce puffiness and dark circles under your eye. I haven't used it long enough to tell a huge difference with the darkness of my under eye but I can already tell they are lessoning some. There is a little metal ball at the tip that rolls on the formula and it's nice and cool and I think it just gives you a jump start to wake up your eyes in the morning! Great product you should try... I got mine at Walmart for like $7 bucks!

2. Garnier's Moisture Rescue Face Gel.

I bought this stuff to try out and didn't know how I would like it because I tend to have dry skin and normally use something thicker but Oh My Word... this stuff feels amazing! I put it on in the morning and night and it's just so cooling and refreshing.. and definitely doesn't make me miss my old moisturizers. My face feels so soft after it soaks in, it smells great and is not greasy at all! They have another kind for normal to oily skin as well... A product definitely worth trying for sure!

3.Curel Continuous Comfort body lotion.

I love this stuff.. It is Dermatologist Recommended and hypoallergenic, so that's a plus! And while I don't have sensitive skin, I like it because it is nice and thick but the moisture soaks in so fast and doesn't leave you feeling sticky or greasy. The moisture also lasts all day! Like I've said before, I tend to have pretty dry itchy skin and some lotions I use feel great when first put them on but after an hour or so I feel like I need to reapply more. This lotion is just great.. I can't say enough good things about it.. I keep a bottle at home and on my desk at work so others can try it as well :)

One more perk is that it comes in fragrance free.. which is nice if you want to wear perfume or body spray without crossing smells.. plus I rub this on my neck and wrists and then spray with my perfume and it helps the smell last longer :) I say give it a shot!

 4. Urban Decay's Naked palette.

Funny name, I know lol but this is my ALL TIME FAVORITE eye shadow! I love Urban Decay in general but they really out did themselves with this palette. Where do I begin... for one thing the colors are gorgeous and so pigmented plus they all blend so beautifully together. Not to mention that they stay on all day! Especially if you use their eye primer or any primer really. For the most part I am a drug store make up kind of girl and this palette is a bit pricy but it will last you forever and for the quality and array of colors you get.. I don't mind spending a little more... They also have a second palette out called Naked2 and I am looking forward to trying that out as well. I would recommend this to anyone who loves doing make up, you will fall in love!

here is a photo of the colors in order on actual skin.

5. Urban Decay's Setting Spray.

I own the first one in the picture (Long Lasting). It is wonderful! I spray a few mists over my face after my make up is done and literally I can go all day long, after sweating and all and by the end of the day my make up will look like I have just put it on! Especially my eyeliner which is a wonder in itself because I have never been able to make my eyeliner last without having to touch it up. I have heard great things about the other two in the picture as well. The Oil Control one is pretty self explanatory but the Cooling and Hydrating one pictured in the middle is pretty sweet! It Sets your make up just like the one I have but it keeps your make up at a certain cool temperature so whether you are in hot weather or cold weather, it will keep your make up from melting off or from being dry and flakey. So cool right! Either one you choose is a great product and worth the investment because in the long run you end up using less make up!

6. Loreal's Colour Riche Balm in color 218 Rose Elixar.

And last but not least I have been adoring my Loreal lip balm. I'm not much of a lip stick person but this is the perfect world between lip gloss and lip stick.. it is sheer but adds great color and a perfect amount of shine that lasts pretty well.. I usually only have to reapply after I'm done eating.. pretty good I'd say! It's not expensive at all and I got mine from Walmart. This is the only color I own at the moment but all their colors look beautiful and I can't wait to try more. If you have pale skin like I do and need to add some color to your face, Rose Elixar is a great color. Let me know if you try it and what you think!

Ok, Those are the products that I am just absolutely loving right now.. Hope it was helpful, I know it's kind of overwhelming at the store when trying to figure out if a product is worth the penny. Let me know if you love these items too and any of your fav's that I need to check out as well! Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful day! and don't forget to subscribe to Tea, China and Fair Skin if you haven't already :) Just add your email in the top left hand corner of this home page for notifications!

20 Random Facts about ME!

Ok so I haven't posted anything for a few weeks because life has been oh so crazy!! We have been in and out of town a couple times and there's always just something going on back and forth. I'm sure you all know the feeling. SO... I decided I would try and get back in the swing of things with today's post.

Today's post is going to be about, Yours Truly :) 20 Random facts about Lind-Say Jo. So lets get started!!

#1. I can blow bubbles out of my eye. WHAT?! yes I can. I discovered this one day as a kid doing back flips under water in the pool and getting water up my nose. You know that burning feeling you get when you have water up in there.. well I thought it would make it feel better to hold my breath and plug my nose while trying to blow air out... LOL and all of a sudden.. my eye started bubbling from the inner corner.. Doesn't sound to healthy right? Lol my parents didn't think so either haha so I only showed my friends when they weren't around. I actually won a talent contest once at camp!! That's my claim to fame right there folks.

I thought I'd hit you with my best one right off the bat! ;)

#2. I get scared/startled VERY easily. It's gotten worse as I've gotten older.. I jump any time anyone comes from anywhere that I'm not expecting.. and sometimes I jump worse even if I AM anticipating someone haha... my husband scares me all the time unintentionally (I think).. you'd think I'd 'know' by now that I live with him.. but my brain just can't figure that out.

#3. I love love love make-up! My mom and aunts were always really into makeup and I just picked it up from watching them. I would get in trouble for using my mom's stuff all the time and not putting things back, but I just wanted to learn! And to this day, any time I'm at any store that sells makeup, I can just feel the cosmetic isles calling my name lol. I could spend hours examining the products!

#4. I had a dog named Sassy for 14 years, that I loved very much. She passed away my senior year of high school and I was so sad :( . She has been gone for like 6 years now and I still talk about her from time to time.. I don't think it's weird but some people do. She was my faithful companion :) All my friends know exactly who I'm talking about when I say Sassy.

#5. I'm almost albino. Lol At least that's what the lady at the tanning salon said one time. I had to answer a series of questions to determine how many minutes I could start out tanning. So at the end I had to add up my score and give it to her. She got wide eyed and said "honey, one point lower and we wouldn't be able to legally let you tan! Are you sure you want to start tanning? You are one point away from being legally albino." HA.. yeah I should have never done it.. she only let me lay in the tanning bed for 2 whole minutes and I was FRIED! lesson learned.

#6. I love Shirley Temple! I have every movie/short she's ever been in. I still watch it to this day :) my favorite movies that she's in are tied between "Captain January" and "The Littlest Rebel".

#7. I had red hair once. (like the natural color red) I absolutely loved it! but my husband didn't and won't let me do it again.. we'll see ;) maybe someday... I like being a blonde for now.

#8. I love Pocky's. Strawberry Pocky's to be exact. They are a Japanese treat if you've never heard of them. You can find them at Walmart in the oriental section in the grocery isle.

#9. I have a slight obsession with Amish love stories... my favorites are by Beverly Lewis. They are just so great! Don't hate if you've never read one lol... It's just intriguing because it's about another culture and I just love L.O.V.E. Plus it's a good clean love story :)

#10. In 6th grade towards the end of the school year, everyone in my class was sent out in the hall one by one so the rest of the class could vote on a nickname for us to be known by at 6th grade graduation and it was to be kept a secret until that day. I was so excited to hear mine because all the other girls got cute nicknames.... what was mine you say?? Mrs. Gigglesworth.... awful I know.. So embarrassing I hated it! lol but it's funny now. I was and still am pretty giggly so I guess it fits.

#11. I have random cravings... and when I say cravings I mean STRONG cravings for pretzels (crunchy kind) and pickles..  I know that sounds like a pregnant kind of craving but I can assure that i'm not.. I just really love those two things together.

#12. I have been known to sing the squirrel song by Ray Stevens word for word from time to time. My husband hates it.. it has 3 vs. and 3 choruses and once I start singing it I have to sing the whole 5 minute song lol. (Sorry honey!) if you have never heard it.. run to youtube and look it up now!

#13. In my opinion, the best invention ever created was air conditioning. I absolutely hate to be hot and sweaty, so air conditioning becomes my best friend in the summer time. Otherwise I turn into the Hulk and rip up the whole city. True story.

#14. I am a very vivid dreamer... I dream almost every single night and have the most wild crazy REAL feeling dreams.. some people tell me they don't dream at all and others tell me that my dreams will go away as I get older.. but I hope that isn't true because it is so fun to be in my head! lol

#15. I think it is insanely funny watching videos of people falling... if I'm in a grumpy mood and turn on Funniest Home Videos and watch the back to back clips of people falling TO MUSIC I will no longer be grumpy by the end of it all. I laugh so hard every time! Other than FHV my favorites on youtube are "scarlet takes a tumble" and "fat kid fall off of roller coaster." Call me cruel, I don't mind lol I think it is hilarious and I will keep on laughin!

#16. My biggest aspiration in life is to be a Mommy some day :) Can't wait! Whether God blesses me with biological children or children from someone else.. I love them already! can't wait to meet them! well I can.. maybe three more years hopefully lol.

#17. When I am in church and the pastor tells us to turn to a certain book in the Bible.. I still sing the memorized books of the Bible that I learned in kindergarten so I can locate the book I'm looking for. Thanks Mrs. Flickenger for teaching me that!

#18. I FREAK OUT.. if a bug flies at me and gets close to my ears where I can hear it super loud! and when I say freak out.. it's not this little girly squeal and run around all cute and dainty.. it's me: shoving people (elderly and all) and whipping my head around so hard that my pony tail flies out, all the while screaming at the top of my lungs in a shrill tone that could probably break glass... it's not a pretty site and I have tried to control myself but it's just one of the many GIANT fears that I have lol. Sorry if you've had to experience my little tantrums ;)

#19. Sometimes I have these surreal moments where I wonder what it would be like to be someone else... But then I get all confused and realize that I am just ME... inside a BODY.. that has just been assigned to me by God kind of.. I know it sounds weird and that may not make sense at all but I don't know how else to describe it.. i'm weird lol. But seriously  just try and sit there for a minute and ponder that... after a minute or two, if you're anything like me, you'll be like "uhhhhh"... fries your brain a little bit lol.

#20. From first grade until I was a freshman in High school.. my shoe size was the same as my grade. So in 1st grade I wore a size 1 and then in 9th grade I wore a size 9. And I legitimately had a fear that I would have huge giant feet by the time I was in the 12th grade. Thankfully they stopped in 9th grade!

So there you go.. 20 random facts about me that you probably could have lived without knowing but I hope you enjoyed it anyway ;) Comment below and give me one random fact about you as well! And don't forget to subscribe if you haven't already... or want to lol.

3 REASONS WHY A CLEAN KITCHEN MAKES ME WANT TO EAT CLEAN TOO!

My husband and I both split the responsibilities of cleaning the house (for now that is since I'm not a stay at home wife and mommy yet). Although its been 70%-80% Lance most days because I work all day and he 1. is just a great helper because he loves me :D and 2. Because I'm sure he gets bored at the house all day before he goes to work at night.

Any way, we have this rule to at least spend 10 minutes a day picking stuff up or just doing whatever needs to be done and then Saturdays is when I do a deep clean of everything.

Cleaning is not fun for me!

But I am also not fond of the stress that a messy house brings.

I have to admit though..... I have a problem. I absolutely HATE doing the dishes! I hate it more than doing any other type of house work there is. I would rather go out in the sweltering heat to pick weeds. (OK, I hope you get the picture of how much I hate it lol.) But I can't bring myself to buy paper products when I know we have free dishes to eat off of. It's a sickness, I know.

If Lance sees the dishes piling up, he most of the time jumps in and cleans them without complaint. (I will also admit that I LOVE when he does that!) BUT it makes me feel bad because the kitchen is supposed to be my zone and I should clean the dishes at least most of the time. So with the purest of intention I will tell him, "No No, let me do the dishes after I get home from work." I know he's sick and tired of hearing that line! Because "after work" roles around and I'm tired and need to cook supper.

And here is where the cycle continues. Surprise, Surprise, wouldn't you know, "the pan I need to use is at the bottom of the sink in a pile of nasty dishes!" This is where I start to panic while I'm staring at a giant monster that I REALLY don't want to tackle. (And I am pretty sure at this point I start hearing the theme song to Jaws!) So I start weighing out my options... and then something like "Chinese take out sounds really good right now." starts rolling through my head. Bad choice but easier choice. More expensive choice but I don't have to do dishes.. AWFUL!

So here are "3 REASONS WHY A CLEAN KITCHEN MAKES ME WANT TO EAT CLEAN TOO!"

1. I don't dread going to the grocery store!
There are few things more stressful to me than bringing a fresh new batch of groceries into a messy kitchen and trying to put things away around the mess. So if my kitchen is clean, I don't avoid going to the store to buy yummy healthy food for Lancy pants and I!

2. It makes me WANT to prepare a good healthy meal.
When I get off work and the kitchen is clean as well as all the utensils/pans that I will need; all I have to do is start cooking. It's so much nicer than starting with sink full of dishes that could take an hour to finish. Because by that time, I just want to order a pizza!

3. It simply makes things more enjoyable!
I sometimes don't realize the stress that I bring on myself and if I clean when I'm supposed to then the dishes won't get piled up. So basically I prevent the stress causer and that makes for a happier healthier home. Plus I know my husband appreciates the alleviated stress as well :)

It doesn't always work out but I have a general rule to always clean the dishes right after we are done eating off of them. That way the dishes don't get piled up so bad. So if you're like me and don't have a dishwasher (that will be my pride and joy when I get one someday lol) and you avoid your kitchen like the plague because of dishes... Jump right on this misery train and we can do it together! You can do it!! Lets keep our kitchen clean so we can eat clean too!

Let me know if you feel like Me about dishes or any advice that you might have. Thanks!!

Lindsay

Why can't the Dr. figure it out!?!?

A little over a month ago, I was very sick for like 3 weeks. I had never in my life been that sick for that long! It was terrible! My heart was racing for no reason, I was tired and weak all the time and I would get sick to my stomach and throw up until I passed out. Sounds fun right?

Yeah I had a blast! Especially when I had to go to the hospital 3 times within three weeks (against my own will mind you). I hate hospitals! Every time I went they would do more and more and more tests... I was beginning to think  that something was seriously wrong with me because the Dr. could NOT figure it out. At one point they even did a spinal tap on me because they thought I might have had meningitis! Let me tell you, the spinal tap was the highlight of it all.. who doesn't love a good spinal tap?? I was pretty much scared that the ER doc was going to paralyze me.

So any way, I was getting so sick and tired of being poked and prodded and them finding NOTHING... and they were sending me home with answers like, "you probably just have a really bad undetectable virus." Well their answers did not satisfy me. I wanted to get better but I didn't know how... UNTIL I found Dr. Berg.

I was searching online one day to see what the heck my symptoms could mean when I happened upon one of Dr. Bergs body type videos. I listened to what he had to say and found out exactly what kind of body type I was and I thought wow that's exactly me! So then I found his website.... what a land mind I tell you!

At first I thought, this guy is probably like all the rest of the gimmick people out there, trying to sell you this miracle this and this miracle that. Boy was I wrong. I am going to link the video below but please hear me out to why this guy is a TRUE doctor. He owns a practice in Tennessee (I believe) and travels around trying to educate Americans about our cultures diet is literally killing us by eating the way that we do.

1. He offers an abundance of FREE videos right on his website to educate you about your body. 2. He has a tag line that I'm addicted to which is, "You don't lose weight to get healthy.... You get healthy to lose weight." SO simple yet so true!. 3. He sells this drink, called the Kale shake... I know, I know, you are thinking "THERE IT IS" but hear me out.. yes he sells that shake mix BUT he also gives you a video of how he makes the shake so you can do it yourself if you want (which involves like 3 or 4 common ingredients.) The shake he sells just comes in different flavors for you to try. HOW COOL IS THAT! No one does anything nice like that these days!!! And 4. He is so against the traditional way that Doctors operate. Which is, you go to the doctor because you are having
'pain all over", what do they do... they give you a big fancy name like "You have fibromyalgia." So they give you some pain killers or some type of prescription drug and they never ask Why. Why do you feel that way!?

Sorry for all the exclamation points lol I'm just very excited about today's post!!!

I started taking some of his advice and eating for my body type.. and I started getting better! Thanks expensive Dr.'s who didn't do a thing for me! It was so much cheaper to find Dr. Bergs video online and take his free advice. Ok.. enough rambling from me... I've posted two videos and they are both about the same thing.... the first is just a short version and the longer one (which I HIGHLY recommend if you have the time.) just goes into more detail. VERY INFORMATIVE... not the same ole' same ole' that you've heard before... just watch. And PS. his website is just dr.berg.com.

Thanks for stopin by guys! Hope you took the time to watch at least the 5 minute one. Please comment below and let me know what you thought. Thanks!!

This is my Heart Wide Open...

I am a follower of Jesus Christ and this is my story of how I found Him, How He's helped me through hard times and why I choose to follow Him everyday.

I was born in Toledo, OH to a wonderful mom and dad who loved me very much. They are Christians and raised me in a Christian home and took me to church every time the doors were open. So home and church is where I heard about God at a very early age. In Sunday school I remember hearing about what Jesus did for, not only the whole world, but for ME and why. My little mind was so overwhelmed with the thought of such love, and it still is. I learned that Christ wanted to come into my heart and that all I had to do was accept Him and ask Him to save me from my sins. I thought about what I had heard quite often and was very curious and began to ask lots of questions of my parents and Sunday school teacher in the weeks to come.

Until one night, very late, I woke up from a deep sleep and had a very strong feeling that I needed to make a decision about what I had learned. So I got up and went to my parents room and woke them up. I said "Daddy, I want to get saved." Through his sleepy eyes I still remember the look of happiness and realization that he had to what I was saying. He had a huge smile on his face and picked me up and put me in the middle between them. At this point, my mom was smiling, hugging and kissing me ... until my dad made her stop so he could ask me some questions. By the tone of his voice, I could hear some concern and I knew exactly what he was thinking. You see, I was only five years old that night and although I was years older in my understanding, Dad just wanted to make sure I knew what I was doing.

So at the tender age of five, on a late September night, I asked the Lord into my heart and began a relationship that I will never regret! It is hands down, the best decision I have ever made in my life. That night is when my true life began.

Looking back on my life after I had accepted Christ , I can see how He was working in me and giving me a heart for others to know Him as well. I would tell the kids in my neighborhood who He was and pray for them in my bed time prayers to accept Him too. And as my baby sister started to get older, my heart was heavy for her soul as well. Thankfully, she also accepted Christ as her personal Savior and I had the sweet privilege to lead her to the Lord one night.

My childhood was easy and so much fun. I had plenty of food, clothes, toys, a daily playmate in my little sister, tons of cousins to make the best of friends, parents, grand-parents, and even great-grand-parents to love me very much. I literally had nothing to complain about (although I'm sure I found something lol, just ask my mom). The worst thing I had to worry about was if I was going to get to go with my mamaw and papaw after church on Sundays.

But then one day, everything changed. I was 13 and had never experienced anything that tested my faith in the way that this day and the days that came did (and sometimes still do). On May 12, 2004 my Dad went to work like he always did to drive his semi-truck, but unlike all the other days, he didn't come home. He was in a terrible accident in his truck and went home to be with the Lord that day. The news devastated my family and as for me, I was in agonizing pain coming to grips with the fact that I had lost my role model, best friend and daddy!

To an extent I would show some emotion but for the most part I held all my pain inside so I could be strong for my family. I got very good at suppressing my thoughts and feelings about the whole circumstance that had turned my world upside down. I knew all the right things to say to comfort and to help people keep their faith in God during such a difficult time. I felt like every time I turned around someone was saying "Linds, you are wise beyond your years." I knew that what I was saying was truthful and I was only comforting people with words I knew my dad would say but I hadn't actually allowed the truth of those words to sink into my own heart.

The years past so quickly since that awful day and before I knew it, I had become a very bitter teenager in high school. Teenage years are rough for most daughters and moms, even under the most normal of circumstances; so with all of our pain and grief my mom and I were at odds almost all of the time. I pushed her and my sister away and at the time I couldn't really give you an answer why, except that they "annoyed" me. I spent a lot of time away from home, spending the night with different family members, to neglect the painful truth that my home wasn't normal anymore. Some who knew me at this point of my life might read this and think, 'she seemed like she had it all together to me.' Let's just say that I was very good at acting because I even believed it myself.

Through high school I still attended church and was very involved but I had put my relationship with God on a shelf which collected a lot of dust before I truly came back to Him again. It's not that I was so furious with Him for allowing certain things to happen in my life or that I doubted if there really was a God but I now know it was because deep down if I talked to the Lord at all, then we were definitely going to have to discuss my grief and pain and the awful truth that my Dad was never coming back.

The longer I left Him on that shelf, the farther into the world I ventured. I was so far away from Him that I eventually became a liar, a cheat, a thief and my heart became so incredibly hard and ugly. At last, I had hit rock bottom and let me tell you, if you've never been there, it is so dark and you feel like there is no hope for you. But eventually the only way to look is UP. Hitting rock bottom forced me to realize that I can not do things on my own, (Clearly!) and that I will fail every single time if I try.

So I had two choices that both included God but not in the way you'd expect. 1. To use the Lord to pick me up just far enough until I could see for myself again and only have to commit a period of time and devotion to Him. OR 2. To let the Lord pick me up in His comforting arms and never let go because in my heart I knew I would end up right back where I started time and time again without Him. I don't know about you, but number 2 logically should be the only option, yet it's so sad how many people choose the first choice over and over again. Thankfully, my Lord kept on pursuing me in more ways than I can count. Finally, I chose path number two and I knew there was no turning back to my old ways.

A few months went by and I was preparing to attend a college in my home town...but the Lord had other plans. He led me 12 hours away from home to Springfield, MO to attend Baptist Bible College and prepare for a life time of ministry for Him. Even though I barely knew one person, the Lord didn't have to do much persuading because He Himself gave me an adventurous travelin' soul! Plus I knew even as a little kid that I would end up in the ministry, and this was finally my chance to learn more about God.

Fall came and I headed out to Missouri for my new life. I felt so much more alive knowing that Christ was the head of all my decisions and I just knew that I was in the right place. I made lots of friends and we had lots of fun! Those years I would never replace for all the world.. I learned so much, I did so much and I found my sweet heart! After attending college for a couple of years, Lance and I started dating and it was a thrill of a life time! He was exactly the kind of man that I wanted and prayed for!

Backing up just a bit...It was just a couple months into my first semester and I started to feel the all too familiar pain in my chest. Grief. I even hated the word. I just didn't want to grieve! I wanted to skip it all together and go on with my life because it just hurt way too much. I wrestled with God about this for a little while but finally let Him take me in His arms as I would ball my eyes out night after night in my dorm room. Day after day I dealt with my pain and agony, but I was not alone. I can hardly explain the comfort that I found in my God. It is unimaginable to think of me going through that alone! And then... it started to get easier, I knew I would always miss my Dad but I felt like I could actually breathe again. Being 12 hours away from my family (although I missed them) really helped because I didn't feel the burden of being strong for them on a daily basis. As of this year it has been 9 years since I have gotten to talk to my dad. I still have rough days, when I miss him terribly, but just knowing that he is in the comfort of God's presence sooths the sting so much more. Plus, knowing that I can see him again one day, makes me SO ecstatic I can hardly stand it! God still continues to help me with this issue, but bad days are getting farther and farther apart.

Fast forward to March 9, 2013... Lance and I's wedding day. It was such an amazing feeling that I didn't know truly existed until I experienced it myself, that I could love someone so much and know without a doubt that they loved me just as much as I loved them. Standing on that stage in front of our friends and family, I could feel the Lord's presence between Lance and I. I knew that our commitment to one another, in Him, was such an honoring form of worship. My heart was so full. Our wedding day was simple and beautiful and the best part was at the end of it all... we were FINALLY married!

So here we are, newlyweds. Lance is still in college working towards his pastoral studies degree and I work for the school that he attends/aspiring to be a photographer on the side. I can admit it, we are dirt poor (in money that is). The first few months that we have been married have not been a breeze financially. Sometimes I think, how in the world are we going to eat for the next 5 days when we only have 5 bucks for the both of us. But I am telling you the Lord provides every single time in one way or another. But my relationship with God isn't about what I can get out of it. Our relationship is about my Father loving me so much that He sent His only son to die for me, such love that my mind can not comprehend. So I will live all the wrest of my days telling people I meet about the love that He has for each and every one of us. I choose to walk with God every day no matter the cost. Being a Christian isn't peaches and cream all of the time, sometimes it's hard to stand up for what is right. Sometimes you are ridiculed just because you believe in Him. Sometimes people reject you for your rules and boundaries that you have placed on your life. But you know what... it is SO worth it. The love that I can feel wrap all around me when I am scared, lonely, mad, sad, happy; whatever emotion, I know my God is always with me. This is why I choose to follow Him.

One more thing.. I think that some people don't understand what it means when someone says they have a relationship with God. So if you have that question, I will try and make it as clear to understand as possible. Do you have a relationship with your Mom or Dad, your husband or wife, your children? Maybe you have a relationship with all of those people. What does that mean to you, to have a relationship with them? Well my guess is you spend time with them, you talk to them, you talk about them to others, because they are a part of your life. Even though you can not see God, He is just as real and alive as you and me. You can feel Him, you can talk to Him and you can tell others of Him. He wants a relationship with every single one of us. But it's so sad that only a few will answer.

If you have more questions about what Jesus did for you and why.. please please please do not hesitate to email me and ask. Do not feel like you are bothering me. This is what I live my life for. You my friend, are reading this for a purpose today. Either you have a relationship with the Lord already that you have put up on a shelf and it has collected a lot of dust, or you may have some deep pent up pain or grief that you need to let the Lord help you with. You might not know anything about God at all, and that's ok, we all had to start from the beginning too. Whatever your reason may be, please comment below or email me. But remember don't be ashamed of your questions because more than likely there are many who are wondering the same thing and aren't brave enough to say anything.

Thanks for reading.. I hope me opening my heart has touched you in some way.
